Author Guidelines
Following are the author’s guidelines for submissions to the Journal of Islamic Banking, Economics and Policy (JIBEP):
- The corresponding author must clearly mention the contribution of each co-author and submit the author’s consent form on their behalf. In case of any falsified statement, the corresponding author will be held responsible.
- The name or order of authors can be modified only before the review process begins. Once the review process has started, JIBEP will not accept any requests for addition, removal, or reordering of author names.
- Manuscripts extracted directly from a thesis will not be accepted as such. Authors must revise the manuscript appropriately and disclose during submission if it originates from a thesis.
- Authors are not allowed to withdraw their manuscript after the completion of all reviews. Withdrawal is permitted only after editorial desk evaluation and with valid justification.
- The similarity index of the manuscript must be below 19% (preferably under 15%) at the time of submission, verified through reliable plagiarism detection software.
- The order of authorship should be mutually agreed upon by all authors prior to submission.
- JIBEP does not entertain guest authors, gift authors, or ghost authors under any circumstances.
