About the Journal
Introduction
The Journal of Islamic Banking, Economics and Policy (JIBEP) is a multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal published by Islamic Finance Review (IFR), United Kingdom. JIBEP provides a global platform for advancing research and informed debate in Islamic finance, banking, economics, and public policy, with a strong emphasis on ethics, sustainability, responsible financial innovation, and inclusive development.
The journal publishes original, high-quality scholarship that bridges theory and practice while addressing contemporary global challenges such as climate and green finance, ESG integration, financial inclusion, digital transformation, and risk and governance in both Islamic and comparative financial systems.
JIBEP welcomes empirical, conceptual, theoretical, and policy-oriented studies that contribute to the evolving discourse on Shari‘ah-compliant financial systems, sustainable economic policy, and ethical business models, with relevance to Muslim-majority contexts and the wider global economy.
